DLNA media sharing from phone to PotPlayer on Windows computer

DLNA media streaming is like AirPlay used to stream video music wirelessly from one device to another.AirPlay of Apple and DLNA are known for their function of watching media content from one device to another without a physical cable.

DLNA media streaming from Android to smart TV is easy, but it is difficult to implement in Windows computer.Now installing PotPlayer and Macast on Windows can be easily accomplished.

Macast link: https://github.com/xfangfang/Macast

Download potplayer.py,open it with a text editor.
Modify the path of PotPlayer, just modify one of them according to your installed version 32bit or 64bit.

Save it and copy it to %LOCALAPPDATA%\xfangfang\Macast\renderer

Restart Macast, right click on Macast, “Settings - Renderers - PotPlayer”.

Open video app that is DLNA-compatible, search for the name of your computer to connect, play the video on your phone and then it will instantly send to your Windows computer to play with PotPlayer.
