Set up PotPlayer audio output Pass-through after AC3 re-encoding
If you are using a PC hawk to your AV receiver or audio amplifier, if your amplifier does not support DTS,or only 2 speakers working in a 5.1 system.
Right mouse click on PotPlayer,“Preferences - Audio”,Outout chose"Pass-through after AC3 re-encoding".

Most games output audio in PCM 5.1 format, you can try install APO,chose “FX Configurator”&“Dolby DS 1”

Open “FX Configurator”, click Product Config Tool ,chose Dolby Digital plus Home Theater,Apply Product Settings to Selected Endpoints.
Finally, go to Windows Sound Settings - Sound Control Panel - Sound Devices - Properties - Advanced Card, select "Dolby Digital" for "Default Format".
When playing a 2-channel movie, if you want 5.1 speakers to have sound, PotPlayer comes with the "Expand Stereo to Surround" function, and you can select your actual speaker as the output channel.
